Join our team and play a key role in helping us provide exceptional service while enjoying a fulfilling work-life balance.Position OverviewWe’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Route Service Representative to join our team in serving the Greater Baltimore areas including, Towson and Owings Mills. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering our products to businesses across the Baltimore region, including Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. You'll cultivate relationships with current customers and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base. What You'll Do

• Drive Sales and Service Excellence: Navigate your designated route in the Towson and Owings Mills areas, servicing existing customers, and introducing innovative product solutions to enhance their businesses. Utilize your customer service and sales skills to organically expand your route, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Strategic Inventory Management: Maintain accurate invoice inventories and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure consistency and reliability. Identify additional products and services that can bring added value to our customers, presenting these opportunities during customer interactions. Proactively negotiate service agreement renewals with customers to solidify long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth.
• Safety and Compliance: Execute your responsibilities with the utmost professionalism and adherence to safety standards and driving regulations. Ensure compliance while representing Dempsey Uniform on the road.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador: Represent Dempsey Uniform with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Qualifications

Minimum age requirement: 22 years for vehicle insurance purposesValid driver’s license in good standing with a clean recordMust meet pre-employment DOT physical requirementsPhysical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry products into and out of customers' locationsExceptional customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to build rapport and trust with clientsAbility to meet our appearance and dress code policyHigh school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred; additional education or training in sales or business is a plus.
