Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including account management, AWS Data migration services (DMS) design and implementation for inter-database synchronization, backup/recovery, disaster recovery testing, and configuration management. Manage database management systems (DBMS) on AWS and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.</p> <p><strong>Here’s What You Need:</strong></p> <p>Advanced AWS RDS Experience with Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, and MS SQL Servers that includes but not limited to:</p> <p>&nbsp;-Deploying multi-AZ RDS systems with high performance -Performance tuning with AWS Performance Insights</p> <p>-Integrating Oracle Enterprise Manager for performance monitoring</p> <p>-Designing AWS Data Migration Services jobs for data synch between databases -Database Encryption at rest and in transit</p> <p>&nbsp;-Configuring the parameter groups</p> <p>-Managing IP traffic using a security group</p> <p>-Auditing the database log files</p> <p>-Maintenance and management activities</p> <p>-Planning backup and recovery strategies</p> <p>-User management</p> <p>-Monitoring the database</p> <p>-Be able to report to client site in Washington DC 5 days a week</p> <p><strong>Eligibility Requirements:</strong></p> <p>US – Citizen</p> <p><strong>Security Clearance:</strong></p> <p>Top Secret Clearance</p><div class="content-pay
