The impact of the role: 

The Strategic Integration Officer will be a critical team member of our clients’ team driving the strategic alignment and integration of the R&D and Connected Technologies (CT) departments. You will ensure seamless integration of strategies, manage joint projects, and foster innovation roadmaps across hardware and software domains.

On a given day, a Strategic Integration Officer will:

• Drive the strategic objectives between the R&D and CT departments, integrating and aligning them with the overall business strategy.
• Coordinate with project managers and strategy teams to ensure a holistic overview and detect delivery dependencies of integrated solutions.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks to prioritize projects and manage the integration process effectively.
• Communicate integration strategies and project progress to executive leadership and internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration between the R&D and CT departments to foster innovation and remove barriers to project success.
• Provide technical and strategic guidance to ensure the company’s technology stack supports the connected services goals and leverage the latest technologies.
• Support the research and development of new technologies that can enhance the company’s product offerings.
• Foster an environment that encourages experimentation and the exploration of new ideas.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• BSc. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree and/or MBA would be advantageous.
• 10 years of experience in a high-tech industry, with significant leadership roles in R&D, CT, or a related field. 
• Demonstrated success in leading integration projects between hardware and software teams.
• Deep understanding of both hardware development and software engineering principles.
• Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to align technical projects with business objectives.
• Proven leadership and change management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in a technological environment
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Familiarity with the latest updates in connected technologies, IoT, automotive systems, and digital service monetization strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
