Job Summary:

You will be responsible for integrating CooperSurgical’s data ecosystem with business context (from the commercial teams) to provide both strategic and operating recommendations (to the commercial teams). You will be the business insights partner to CooperSurgical’s Medical Devices teams, globally. You and your team will utilize data analytics and market insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize commercial operations.

You are responsible for managing a team of 3-4 associates focused on delivering business insights and commercial analytics support to the Medical Devices commercial teams. 

 

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

Commercial Excellence

• Act as the lead Business Partner to provide both strategic and operational insights to global Commercial leaders, within the Medical Devices businesses.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects using various data manipulation and analysis techniques to draw insights towards both short and long-term strategic decision making.
• Leverage technology solutions (Data Warehouse, PowerBI, D365 CRM) to improve efficiency and effectiveness across commercial functions. Identify areas for automation, standardization, and scalability to support business growth objectives.
• Define KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of commercial initiatives. Regularly monitor and report on key performance indicators to senior management, providing insights into business performance and areas for improvement.
• Conceptualize, build, and maintain Data Models, Reports, Dashboards, and Metrics for ongoing reporting and analytics.
• Help maintain standardization in definitions and implementation of data strategies, policies, processes, and programs. In addition, collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, develop analytical solutions, and drive business outcomes.
• Provide Data and Analytics support to teams working on Incentives & Compensation, Customer Experience, and other Special projects

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Analytics professionals.
• Coach and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
• Create a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
• Manage team performance and provide feedback to help individuals and the team achieve their goals.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365, PowerBI, MS Excel (Super-user),
• Experience in building Reports, Dashboards, and scorecards using Business intelligence tools. 
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, updating, and managing databases.
• Proven experience in database management systems and skilled in data warehousing concepts and tools
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools.
• Proven track-record in leading analytical and cross-functional teams and influencing the larger organization.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
