Job Summary

Plant Warehouse Assistant

Wilsonart, Receiving in Temple has an immediate opening for a Plant Warehouse Assistant.  This individual will transport carts, dumpsters, skids to the compactor and logs information about waste material.  Refills the propane tanks and operates the Sweeper & Scrubber as needed.  Perform other tasks as required.  These are rotating shift positions. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Operate multiple pieces of industrial equipment 
  • Refills propane tanks and stores in designated area
  • Transports full & empty dumpsters to and from the compactor
  • Assist Receiving as needed with other routine tasks
  • Records weights and other information about all waste and recycling material

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of computers sufficient to input and retrieve data

 

  • Knowledge of products and their manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  •  
  • Ability to use basic mathematical calculations.
  •  
  • Ability to read and write legibly.
  •  
  • Ability to identify material characteristics.
