Responsible for actively driving and managing early technology engagement, solution sell and co-creation with assigned priority BM customers in South Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Working in conjunction with the account team as the key technical advisor for a wide range of applications.</p><p></p><p>The <b>BM CE (DACH) Field Technical Leader </b>will also be responsible for the BM CE (DACH) FAE team. This involves setting and driving key technical initiatives, coordinating activities with the business units and facilitating cross-territory collaboration.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p>· Manage activity and direction of staff.</p><p>· Model and mentor professional behaviors and presentation.</p><p>· Anticipate implications and obstacles, and plan contingencies accordingly.</p><p>· Set clear, measurable goals and objectives aligned with organization priorities.</p><p>· Provide regular and constructive feedback.</p><p>· Identify appropriate assignments or formal training needs for the purpose of fostering a person’s learning and development</p><p>· Coach people by choosing a style most appropriate for the person and the situation</p><p>· Provide design and specification development support to customers and BU´s</p><p>· Listen, understand and convey customer requirements.</p><p>· Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.</p><p>· Assist in the definition, design and development of new products and tools</p><p>· Travel to customer sites together with Account Managers and BU staff supporting deep dive discussions and hands on technology demonstrations</p><p>· Maintain professional business relationships with priority BM customer experts in close cooperation with the Account Managers</p><p>· Support execution and conversion with customer project management tasks and provide status of ongoing projects and future projects within MS Dynamics as part of the account teams</p><p>· Close collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager to align on focus customers and focus technologies to drive profitable growth.</p><p>· Understand customer needs to drive new product developments with peers and BU.</p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p>· BA/BS in <span>Electrical/Electronic</span> Engineering</p><p>· 8 years in related and progressive experience</p><p>· Experience in leading a technical team, ideally in sales</p><p>· Strong experience in analog, power, instrumentation and industrial automation</p><p>· A solid understanding of electric control systems</p><p>· Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills</p><p>· German – fluent, English – C1</p><p>· Available for travel 50%</p><p></p><p>For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
