Major Responsibilities:
Maintain the tracking spreadsheets of operating budget designated for specific purposes.
Ensure proper classification of transactions and working with department on adjustments.
Ensure year end cutoff deadlines are met appropriately by departments.
Prepare labor redistribution worksheets, as needed, incoordination with local HR department.
Maintain gift funds by tracking appropriate expenses, billing the foundation, and process checks from the Foundation.
Prepare the Revolving Fund Account's reconciliation monthly.
Prepare quarterly spreadsheet report on all Club accounts and distribute.
Coordinate appeal committee meetings, including performing research of student appeals and follow up with response letters and implementation of appeal committee decisions.
Assist in researching questions from outside departments, specifically regarding budgets.
Assist in updating, maintaining and tracking employee security roles for finance and purchasing systems.
Serve as back up for Compliance for non-grant related purchasing, travel expense compliance, and preparing daily bank deposit.
Train project directors / leads on how to read the budget in finance system.
Assist project director and development staff with budget and budget justification development for new proposals.
Provide guidance on financial grant managements
Assist the project direct with what-if budget scenarios
Provide assistance with audit and site visit reviews
Review monthly manage report for balances, questionable transactions, and grant end dates.
Monitor grant budgets and spending, including notifying Project Director(s) of any issues.
Assist Project Director with grant and College policy compliance.
Send programmatic report reminders and ensure dual review signatures are obtained.
Review grant award contracts for accuracy and ensure the contracts are entered into the College’s Contract Management System (CMS).

Hiring Range:
$42,000 - $48,000 annually based on experience
Work Hours:
Typical business work hours, may be adjusted during peak times.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
5+ years related experience.
Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic background of employees and customers.
This is an in-person position at our campus in Evansville, IN. Remote work is not available.
