ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Python Software Developer to join our team in Herndon, Virginia.

Join an elite team of Software Developers, Data Engineers, and System Engineers who are developing and deploying unprecedented capabilities for the Intelligence Community. If you’re interested in directly changing the way new technology is used to protect our country, come join us!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Understand requirements, design and develop software components to include interfacing across other functional teams and areas.

• Develop automated unit and integration and regression tests.

• Participate in code and design reviews.

• Understand how to merge and deploy code.

• Research software concepts, develop, document, and demo proof of concept.

• Work with the team members to understand the current product features.

• Commitment to continuous process improvement concerning software integration efforts and CI/CD Pipeline.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and 10+ years of Software Development experience or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field and 6+ years of experience

• Experience developing in Python

• Experience with ETL

• Experience in SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development, SCRUM or Agile methodology

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
