<p>If you're passionate about working with children and families, becoming a Case Aide at DCS can be a life-changing experience. After four years of successful service, you’ll also be eligible for promotion to the DCS Specialist Trainee position ($21.70/hour).</p>
<p><span><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></span></p>
<p>As an<strong> Assistant Case Manager – Case Aide</strong>, you’ll:</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Support children and families under the direction of a Case Manager</li>
<li>Provide direct services in Department of Child Safety programs</li>
<li>Transport clients and ensure proper use of child safety seats</li>
<li>Schedule appointments and coordinate services</li>
<li>Supervise parent-child visits</li>
<li>Refer clients to community resources</li>
<li>Attend court hearings and required meetings</li>
<li>Document client interactions and activities</li>
<li>Provide general case management and clerical support</li>
</ul>
<p>You may also be required to work outside of regular hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.</p>
<p><span><strong>We’re Looking For Someone Who Can: </strong></span></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Build and maintain trusting, professional relationships with children, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members</li>
<li>Demonstrate compassionate communication and active listening when supporting families during sensitive situations</li>
<li>Use attention to detail when completing clerical tasks such as data entry, file maintenance, and document preparation</li>
<li>Collaborate effectively with case managers, supervisors, and service providers as part of a team-centered approach</li>
<li>Utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and mobile technology to communicate, schedule, and document work</li>
<li>Safely transport children to appointments while maintaining compliance with driving and safety requirements</li>
</ul>
<p><span><strong>What We Need From You (Required Qualifications)</strong></span></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record</li>
<li>The ability to obtain and maintain a valid Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card</li>
<li>Work history, Central Registry and Public Record will be considered</li>
</ul>
