We are searching for a thoughtful, results-driven Sr. Creative Director to lead our creative team and drive the brand vision. You will shape the brand evolution, including design principles and design systems.
Who You Are:
You think big, framing designs in the context of the broader customer experience, and are comfortable diving into the details. You influence design direction and earn the trust of your team, peers, and cross-functional partners and stakeholders. You are able to look at opportunities and issues from all sides, form a point-of-view, advocate for what you believe in, and bring people along with you. You are able to operationalize the creative team to meet milestones and brand initiatives and manage creative requests from across the company effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the creative team and its vision, ensuring the right mix of in-house and external agencies to bring the brand to life across campaigns.
- This includes lead generation/nurture, sales enablement, event marketing, and internal communications campaigns, delivering clear and consistent visual storytelling aligned to overall brand identity and messaging.
- Provide systems-level design thinking informed by user needs and insights and contribute to the overall brand and product strategy.
- Launch successful digital products in a consumer marketplace, balancing conversion best practices with brand-centric and human-centered design.
- Work alongside team in project management tool, Asana.
- Manage resources and third-party outsourcing to accomplish goals.
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand their creative needs and deliver plans to support their teams.
- Communicate a holistic plan on Genesys creative strategy, including a resource plan.
- Guide brand leaders on resource needs (talent and technology) to accomplish the vision and plan.
- Act as an internal resource and provide leadership on brand guidelines and resources, ensuring all collaborators support and uphold our brand.
- Grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions.
- Cultivate positive relationships cross-functionally to ensure alignment and delivery of a holistic end-to-end customer and employee experiences.
- Manage design budget
- Supervises and train creative teams and responsible for management of design budget and a strong understanding of processes and timeline management.
- Shape how to lead with design thinking approach that is aligned to the brand and in partnership with the stakeholders taking projects to fruition in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- Coach and mentor designers, fostering their professional growth and career development.
Requirements:
- Expertise in B2B marketing roles including leading teams and a track record of working directly with the executive team and across business, product groups and event oversight ideally within software/SaaS space.
- Ability to work productively within a team.
- A great eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Agile and flexible thinking.
- Ability to articulate a creative strategic plan on vision, stakeholder support, and resource/time needed to hit company milestones.
- Experience with usability testing techniques and principles.
- Experience applying a web design standard.
- Knowledge of web client technologies (browsers, HTML, CSS) (if applicable).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Figma.
- Proficient in Asana.
