PURPOSE/SCOPE: 

  • The Learning Business Partner acts as a strategic partner with the North America Service business unit to ensure learning solutions are in alignment with the strategy and successful throughout the business unit.  This role also is ultimately responsible for new hire & tenured training programs and will oversee the effectiveness of the program, including success and growth of direct report team members.

GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES: 

  • Oversight of the learning curricula for the North America Business Unit Service organization (new hires, tenured, lead training program, etc).

  • Manage and develop team of facilitators with a primary focus on new hire and tenured training and in the Service organization.

  • Design, implement, update and evaluate new and current training programs and events.

  • Conduct regular needs assessments to determine training needs and priorities as well as build learning strategies that are relevant to the Service line of business.

  • Partner across the organization to assess needs of the Americas Service units and collaborate to develop and institute effective training and education programs that help deliver on the mission and goals

  • Develop and maintain the assessment of effectiveness of training and development activities, using various learning and assessment methodologies

  • Assist in development and delivery of Americas strategic vision, as well as implementation.

  • Act as a resource to the Americas organization on Learning & Development opportunities

  • Consult and provide solutions to leadership on training opportunities.

  • Remain informed of trends in the industry and in the training and development fields.

  • Provide feedback with Learning Solutions teams to ensure that learning solutions have met the requirements of the business line.

  • When warranted execute/facilitate ILT & VILT sessions/programs with support of direct reports.

  • Provide consultation and strategic direction with regards to external training requests.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar or related role in Training & Education

  • 5+ years leading teams/supervisory roles

  • Significant learning/training/development experience with a broad set of types of positions with a focus on Sales & Service. Additionally, a deep understanding of the effective training tools for a variety of businesses (corporate, hourly, and high volume roles)

  • Experience developing learning strategies to support goals and objectives critical to the Americas business unit

  • Knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices related to learning and development, training and adult education

  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects of small and large magnitude

  • Familiarity with new technological tools and resources that advance creative solutions for training, education, and development i.e authoring tools, learning management systems, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word)
