Director, Partner Sales (East & Canada)

Key Responsibilities
Reports to VP of North America Channel Sales
Quota carrying channel sales leader with (5 direct reports) by area (will handle Mimecast solutions to be defined within GEO)
Recruit new resellers and various partners in region as needed
Develop and execute business plans with all strategic sales partners, publish and share progress with sales management quarterly
Oversee development of partner sales, net new customer accounts, partner training/enablement, and engagement plans and processes to achieve specific product and revenue targets
Interact and manage reseller partner sales teams to ensure that they can effectively manage assigned sales goals and achieve revenue targets and publish monthly reports tracking success and or failure
Report monthly and quarterly on all lead development of co/joint sales/marketing programs, events, and partner collateral
Educate internal and partner sales teams on how to effectively communicate the partner offering, the value delivered by region and revenue goals by quarter
Serve as the “Face of East and Canadas partners” and engage with partners frequently to manage and grow the collective base of customers and revenue
Essential Skills and Experience
Exceptional partner sales, written, and oral communication skills must be persuasive and excel at presenting
10+ years experience in sales, channel/alliances, marketing, partner management and/or management of distribution relationships, with clear records of success and progression of responsibility
B.S. degree minimum, advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
Travel (40%+ of time)
Strong business analytical skills
Strong sales management and partner operational skills
Proven ability to prioritize and develop strategic plans successfully
Proven ability to effectively coordinate and work across functional teams – both internally and at distribution partners, both in-person and virtually
Ability to achieve sales objectives and influence others and leverage for success
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to cultivate business relationships through networking
Experience with Security, Networking, or Enterprise Software Management Solutions is highly desirable
Diverse background managing sales teams small and large with hands on experience in fast paced problem solving
