We are looking for a skilled Assistant Facilities Manager to join our New Jersey team. As the Assistant Facilities Manager you will be responsible for management of the Distribution Center. This position will report to the Director of East Coast Facilities.
What You Get To Do Every Day
- Provide day to day management of all onsite and outside vendors
- Build and managed vendor relationships
- Sourcing and managing outside contractors
- Manage small- medium construction/renovation projects
- Landscaping
- Shuttle service
- Lead, develop, and provide support to the day to day cleaning crew
- Tracking and reporting repairs and additional services
- Establish and coordinate all preventive maintenance on all of the equipment
- Coordinate moves, add and changes projects
- Setup new employees work areas
- Schedule furniture delivery and installation
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly facility inspections to identify necessary repairs or servicing
- Liaise between the firm and building/property management on all facility-related issues
- Manage all facilities concerns
- Schedule and implement fire drills
- Train all new hires on safety
What You Bring To The Role
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience of facilities management in a fast-paced environment
- Have project management skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Proactive and able to show initiative and ideas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Negotiation skills
- Basic maintenance and repair skill set
- Excellent multi-tasking skills with attention to details
- Provides hands-on facilities assistance
The expected salary range for this role is $70,786.00 - $76,663.20. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
