Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor

 What You’ll Do: 

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and labor allocation. 

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with Planning, Sales, and Production teams 

• Conduct fork truck safety audits and lead warehouse safety initiatives. 

• Monitor receiving, staging, and storage processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. 

• Generate and verify Bills of Lading and manifests for outbound shipments, including FedEx and international orders. 

• Ensure proper handling and documentation for hazardous materials and international shipments. 

• Resolve discrepancies with accounting on invoices, packing slips, and receiving reports. 

• Manage dunnage flow, sorting, and inventory in line with production requirements. 

• Oversee equipment maintenance and preventive service schedules for fork trucks and warehouse tools. 

• Support Continuous Improvement, 5S, sanitation, and safety initiatives. 

We Need You To Have: 

• High School Diploma/GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree a plus.  

• 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, or inventory management. 

• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. 

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and material handling best practices. 

• Familiar with JD Edwards, AS400, or similar ERP systems. 

• APICS certification or knowledge of forecasting and production modeling preferred. 

• Effective communicator with strong time management and organizational skills. 

• Ability to coach, mentor, and evaluate team performance. 

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with production, planning, and quality teams.
