Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our software engineering team. This role is pivotal in driving the delivery of high-impact software solutions by translating business needs into clear, actionable user stories and requirements. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for agile methodologies, a skilled communicator, and a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Product Vision & Roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development.
- User Story Writing: Craft high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria that reflect customer needs and technical feasibility.
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to gather and refine functional and non-functional requirements.
- Agile Leadership: Act as the voice of the customer in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, design, QA, and business teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Facilitate UAT: Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing by ensuring test scenarios align with business requirements and that feedback is captured and addressed.
- Feature Rollout & Piloting: Work closely with stakeholders to plan, pilot, and roll out new software features, ensuring smooth adoption and measurable impact.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor product performance and user feedback to iterate and improve features and workflows.
Qualifications
What You Should Have:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile software development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle management.
- Exceptional ability to write clear, concise, and actionable user stories.
- Demonstrated success in gathering and translating requirements into technical deliverables.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience working with financial products and services, including regulatory and compliance considerations.
- Certification in agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.

Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
