PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactive & active sales
Out & incoming calls.
Sales development (Find new customer & identify potential on the market & up-selling)
Receive and process complex customer inquiries on pricing, lead-time, product offering, complaints … through an efficient, prompt and friendly communication in order to maintain excellent customer relationships
Handle technical inquiries and provide information in order to resolve problems, clarify matters or expedite progress on any aspect of customer relations
Quotations
Issue and follow up on written quotations for non-standard product within set price and discount levels in order to convert opportunities into sales
Gather cost and technical data of special components when requested in order to complete accurate quotation package. Negotiate with subcontractor for supply of subcomponents, services and accessories.
Communication/co-operation
Establish key communication link between customer and internal departments (sales, service, logistics, finance,…) in order to keep all involved parties aware of customer activities
Service Promotion/Up-selling
Advise assigned customers and prospects of other services available to them e.g. Service engineers, Health and Safety Legislation compliance information etc. in order to maximize profitable selling opportunities for the company.
Service planning
Collect service requirements and organize interventions in order to provide service engineers with appropriate time schedules
Market / Product Intelligence.
Collate and distribute client feedback on quality, new projects, budgets and competitor information. These data to be made available for the appropriate department in order to improve quality and increase sales opportunities (close cooperation with ASM)
Results and Reporting
Achieve sales and profit targets
Collect and compile needed sales data in order to issue monthly sales reporting
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree with Commercial orientation
- EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of experience in sales support/inside sales department
- SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCES: Administration, organizational and commercial skills
- PC & computer skills
- Languages as appropriate
- BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING: Understanding of the company’s activities and knowledge of our sales strategies
