MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Capture Director to join our Defense Capture Team to lead Navy pursuits.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Overall responsibility for development and implementation of the Capture Plan through all phases of the proposal development process through award for assigned opportunities.
Establishes and maintains Navy customer intelligence and rapport; understands the customers’ mission, budgets, and buying patterns for assigned capture opportunities working jointly with account executives.
Manages all aspects of capture activities to ensure completion and improve PWin, e.g., solution development, teaming, staffing, PTW, capability gap analysis, etc. for assigned opportunities.
Lead capture gate reviews, ensuring effective and efficient implementation of proven best practices.
Establishes a schedule to accomplish required capture activities between gate reviews.
Develops capture and win strategy and works with Proposal Team to ensure proposals incorporate the capture strategy and pricing targets.
Identifies company investment needs, e.g., facilities, key hires, capital expenditure requirements (managed services), etc.
Works across the Navy division within Mantech to secure the necessary operations support for responding to RFI, White Paper, and RFP opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience in sales/business development/capture. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered, particularly with military service.
Track record of successful capturing and winning multiple >$100M new business opportunities.
Experience within the Navy market, with a keen focus on Naval Air Systems Comman
