We are looking for candidates in or around:
Phoenix, Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City
- Understands people needs of assigned regions via regular communication with leaders and analysis of data.
- Provides coaching and advice on issues involving employee relations, performance management and employment terminations. Prepares or edits employee performance or disciplinary documentation as needed or requested. The HRBP offers employment decision recommendations but does not have the authority to make employment decisions.
- Advises on the application of federal and state labor and employment laws and policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Trains HR/Payroll Representatives within assigned regions in human resources procedures and business processes.
- Assists with onboarding of operational and clinical leaders of assigned regions.
- Assists Presidents with performance reviews of their direct reports.
- Develops relationships and maintains regular dialogue with operational and clinical leaders of assigned regions.
- Assists assigned companies with implementation of Interactive program under the ADA.
- Analyzes human resources data such as employee satisfaction survey scores and comments, hotline statistics, litigation and legal claim information, unemployment claims data and turnover statistics. Recommends and facilitates actions in response as necessary.
- Investigates or oversees investigations of HR-related complaints both in-person and via telephone and documents investigation and resolution in the hotline system or HR drive as appropriate.
- Analyzes workforce staffing data such as agency usage, overtime, PPD, and staffing star rating to identify opportunities and provide guidance to operational and clinical leaders.
- Reports any incidents of non-compliance or high-risk situations to the VP of HR, CCO or COO.
- Attends meetings and trainings provided by the Home Office leadership or the HR team.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law with the ability to provide appropriate guidance to the field and assist them in mitigating risk on employee issues.
- Ability to understand LTC regulations and provide guidance to the field on policies and best practices.
- Independently (i.e., without being asked or directed) develops own assignments/tasks/projects based on company HR-needs identified by the HRBP, or in collaboration with operational and clinical leaders.
- Successfully completes assignments/tasks/projects on time and identifies need to follow up without direction.
- Earns and maintains trust and confidence of operational and clinical leadership.
- Dynamic presenter and trainer.
- Positively interacts with any level employee.
- Able to conduct a complete and thorough investigation of alleged violations of company policy and successfully resolve conflict.
- Professional written and oral communications.
- Ability to deal with responsibility with confidential matters. Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Strong analytical mind, with problem solving skills, an aptitude for accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks/demands simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent critical thinking skills.
- Computer savvy (MS Word, MS Outlook & Excel).
- Ability to be flexible, be readily adaptable, and work in a rapidly and constantly changing environment.
