Assistant Program Manager (DoD Experience)

Position Overview: 
We are seeking an Assistant Program Manager with Department of Defense (DoD) experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting program management activities and coordinating closely with Business Development and Sales teams to support capture management efforts and proposal preparation. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, as well as a deep understanding of DoD processes, procurement, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Program Support: Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring program activities to ensure timely delivery, performance, and alignment with DoD and client expectations.
• Capture Management Support: Work alongside Business Development/Sales personnel to support capture management tasks, including opportunity tracking, proposal planning, competitor analysis, and resource allocation.
• Proposal Development: Coordinate and support proposal efforts by gathering, organizing, and preparing relevant materials, ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements, and assisting in the development of proposal narratives and pricing.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact between program management, business development, and clients, maintaining effective communication to align efforts with client needs and program goals.
• Project Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and update project documentation, including status reports, project schedules, risk registers, and issue logs, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to leadership.
• Budget and Financial Tracking: Monitor and report on program budgets and financial performance, supporting cost control and resource planning efforts.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure program activities are compliant with DoD regulations, standards, and security requirements. Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout project phases.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in program management, capture management, and proposal development.
