MAJOR FUNCTION:
Provide counseling and therapeutic support to individuals experiencing both mental health disorders and substance use disorders (SUD). This role works to bridge the gap between mental health and addiction services, ensuring integrated and comprehensive care for clients. Provide assessment, individual/group therapy, and care coordination.
Education & Experience:
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year working with clients who have both mental health and substance use disorders, preferably in an integrated treatment setting.
• Experience working with clients who have both mental health and substance use disorders, preferably in an integrated treatment setting.
Certification/Licensure:
• Dual State licensure or certification in mental health counseling and substance use counseling (e.g., LCSW, LPC, CADC, LCADC, or relevant provisional status).
