Position Overview
The Director of Executive Protection is a high-impact leadership role within Insulet’s Global Security team. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive executive protection program that safeguards Insulet’s senior leadership across all environments. The role requires global travel and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safety, privacy, and operational continuity of executives.

Responsibilities
Program Design & Strategic Oversight
Design and implement a risk-based, data-driven Executive Protection program aligned with Insulet’s mission and global operations.
Develop and maintain global security policies, standards, procedures, and training programs tailored to executive protection.
Establish quantifiable programmatic goals and metrics to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
Operational Execution & Travel Security
Conduct detailed protective advance assessments for domestic and international travel to ensure preparedness and seamless operations.
Coordinate executive transport using pre-advanced routes, ensuring secure and efficient travel.
Develop travel security protocols and training for high-risk destinations.
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and decision-making in all executive protection activities.
Threat Monitoring & Intelligence Integration
Select and leverage tools for persistent threat monitoring and proactive risk management.
Work closely with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to receive real-time intelligence, assess emerging threats, and coordinate security measures.
Collaborate with the Executive IT Team to ensure endpoint device security, monitoring, and resiliency.
Stakeholder Engagement & Vendor Management
· Build and maintain strong relationships with Legal, Finance, Executive Admins, and other key internal stakeholders.
· Liaise with external partners including law enforcement, military, emergency responders, and industry peers.
· Manage vendor relationships and expand options to supplement executive protection capabilities.
Training & Program Development
· Build and manage an executive protection training program to maintain high-quality skills and readiness.
· Investigate and review security violations, unsafe acts, and crises, coordinating appropriate mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Competencies
Prior experience developing an executive protection program within a large corporation.
Strong understanding of Duty of Care laws and protective intelligence methodologies.
