Under general supervision of the Controller, calculates, reviews and reconciles financial information, and maintains the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness. Provides financial statement review, report generation, and budget preparation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Governmental Accounting Standards. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred. A minimum of five years relevant accounting experience in posting journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts and bank accounts is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and hands on knowledge with accounting software required. Prefer prior experience as a liaison with banking institutes. Must 21 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California. Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred. Tribal preference given to qualified tribal members.
