About the role

JOB SUMMARY:

The Solutions Analyst will be primarily responsible for managing requests for changes to core business applications. The position will work closely with various business lines within the organization to assess requests for changing business applications. This position will also be required to understand the specific business processes and derive a solution and implementation strategy for the best technical approach and pathway forward to completely meet the business requirements as requested.

 

The position will be responsible for managing the triage of inbound change requests and determining which requests should be handled by support staff, which should be delivered by the Enterprise Transformation Office, and which should be delivered by trusted technology partners. This position will work with Novocure’s partners directly to ensure the solutions are delivered efficiently and accurately to the business’s requirements.

 

A great candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills to relay and deliver the necessary changes, as well as manage stakeholders from intake to delivery of all technology changes that are prioritized through the Change Request process.

 

This is a full-time, exempt position located in our Portsmouth, NH office (remote employee acceptable) reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Transformation.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Change Request process and be a dedicated IT liaison to all business units
  • Cultivate a customer-service mindset and build strong relationships across the organization
  • Translate and communicate complex technology challenges or enhancements into tangible solutions that the business and clinical teams can own
  • Maintain a strong throughput of change requests from intake to delivery and ensuring timely completion based on prioritization
  • Be able to manage complex relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Solve complex business challenges through technology
  • Partner with product engineering team to build and deliver products that positively affect the patient experience and business as a whole
  • Perform other duties and projects, as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience with product strategy and/or technology consulting (specifically in life sciences a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technology, biotech, consulting, or related firms
  • Excellent understanding of technical landscapes, specifically inclusive of SAP, Microsoft, and the software delivery lifecycle
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior leaders, effectively push back and ask questions that generate solutions (strong risk management skills)
  • Medical technology, specialty pharmaceutical, or durable medical equipment experience preferred
  • Experience operating in a global enterprise setting preferred

  • Travel up to 40%
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
