Lead DevOps/SRE Engineer - 307264

Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Lead DevOps/SRE Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related field plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Develop Performance Testing Framework to be compatible with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) tools; Gather Non-Functional requirements of the system by meeting with Business Associates, Architects, Tech Leads and Product Management; Explore ways of improving platform stability through technology, processes and tool as an SRE; Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations based on performance test results; As an SRE automate mundane tasks to reduce toil; Implement Health checks and alerts for underlying application components; Implement Operational readiness by making sure standards are followed for logging, monitoring, alerts, Standard Operational Procedures, DR activity. 100% remote work is allowed from anywhere in U.S. Please submit resume to https://jobs.grainger.com/, reference job # 307264.
