Job Description
Minneapolis College, a vibrant and inclusive two-year community college in Minnesota, is accepting applications for an unlimited, full-time Architectural Technology Instructor position in our Architectural Technology Department within the School of Design and Arts starting 2026 Fall Semester.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Provide quality teaching in assigned field of study to a very diverse student population in both lecture and laboratory settings.
Develop and revise instructional materials for both lecture and laboratory courses.
Assess student outcomes at the course, department, and College levels.
Establish, cultivate, and maintain collegial and cooperative work relationships with
instructors in the Architectural Technology Program, the Department’s administrators, academic advisors, support staff, and all College personnel.
Participate actively in the College community through Architectural Technology Department and School of Design and the Arts meetings and College-wide committee work.
Utilize campus technology to stay current in the Architectural Technology occupation and connect to faculty, staff, and students; and
Participate in ongoing professional development activities and professional association memberships.
Minneapolis College’s Architectural Technology program provides students with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills to design buildings with computer aided design (CAD) and building information (BID) technology from practicing architects. The college offers the following awards in Architectural Technology:
Salary Range:
$43,067 - $71,893 annually. Salary schedule placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2023 - 2025 Master Agreement between the Minnesota State Board of Trustees and the Minnesota State College Faculty.
