If you are self-motivated and have superb interpersonal skills, you will thrive in this work environment. </div><div> </div><div> <br/><strong>Why Should You Work Here?</strong> </div><ul> <li>Competitive wages</li> <li>Health, vision, dental, and life insurance available</li> <li>Simple IRA Investment Plan </li> <li>Training and certifications available</li> <li>Friendly and supportive work environment</li> <li>Full-Time hours available</li> <li>Overtime eligible</li> <li>Opportunities for advancement</li> </ul><div><br/></div><div> </div><div><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul> <li>Perform finish and trim carpentry according to plans and specifications</li> <li>Measure, cut, and install base and casing, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, siding, , flooring, etc.</li> <li>Design, build, and install cabinets for new and refurbished homes/offices</li> <li>Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed</li> <li>Collaborate with other carpenters, craftsmen, and subcontractors to complete projects</li> <li>Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment</li> <li>Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite </li> <li>Organize equipment within the warehouse</li> <li>Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns to ensure customer needs are met</li> </ul><div><br/></div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul> <li>High school diploma/GED</li> <li>Effective verbal communication</li> <li>Basic math skills</li> <li>Strong attention to detail</li> <li>Blueprint reading skills</li> <li>Able to use common hand and power tools</li> <li>Must have own trade tools</li> <li>IICRC certifications preferred </li> <li>Experience with new construction and/or remodels preferred, but not required</li> <li>Previous estimating and material ordering experience preferred, but not required</li> <li>Ability to travel locally</li> <li>Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen</li> <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license</li> </ul><div><br/></div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Physical and Work Environment Requirements:</strong></div><ul> <li>Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance</li> <li>Exposure to chemicals</li> <li>Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,</li> <li>Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights</li> <li>Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)</li> <li>Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects</li> </ul><div><em>All employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise.
