About the Job:

We’re looking for a hands-on IT & Security Operations Manager to own the intersection of internal IT systems, onboarding/offboarding processes, and compliance/security operations. You’ll ensure employees have the tools and access they need to be productive, while also maintaining and improving our security posture as we grow.

You’ll partner closely with Engineering, People, and Legal teams to streamline systems provisioning, manage vendor relationships, lead SOC 2 and other compliance programs, and generally ensure that nothing falls through the cracks when it comes to IT and security operations.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys both strategic and tactical work, and is motivated to bring structure to evolving processes while at the same time contributing flexibly as needed – after all, we’re a startup!

Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations

  • Manage employee onboarding/offboarding from an IT systems perspective (laptops, accounts, software access)

  • Set up and maintain endpoint management systems (e.g., Jamf, Rippling, 1Password)

  • Own IT asset inventory and lifecycle management

  • Provide Tier 1 – 2 internal IT support, including account access, locked devices, and hardware issues

  • Maintain and improve provisioning/de-provisioning automations

  • Coordinate with vendors for device logistics and hardware/software procurement

Security & Compliance (GRC)

  • Own day-to-day operations of our security compliance program (SOC 2, NIST, etc.)

  • Maintain and update Drata and other compliance tools

  • Track subprocessor/vendor reviews and maintain accurate documentation

  • Run periodic access reviews, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses

  • Coordinate internal security training and track completion

  • Manage evidence collection, policy updates, and control tracking

  • Support annual audits and external security assessments

  • Assist with incident response, disaster recovery simulations, and business continuity planning
