What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for patients across the lifespan.
  • Treat individuals with a variety of behavioral health conditions, including serious and persistent mental illness, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
  • Deliver psychiatric services through telehealth and onsite appointments while maintaining high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in an open-access psychiatric clinic model, providing scheduled visits, same-day referrals, and walk-in evaluations to improve access to care.
  • Collaborate with behavioral health counselors, community health workers, primary care providers, and other members of the care team to coordinate integrated treatment.
  • Provide weekly telehealth psychiatric services to youth in a residential treatment setting.

Requirements

Qualifications 

  • Current unrestricted Ohio RN license.
  • Current unrestricted Ohio PMHNP license.
  • DEA registration.
  • Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and clinical privileges.
  • Current BLS certification (if required by your credentialing standards).
