Physical Therapist  Location: Kennett Square Organization: Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder   Overview   Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Kennett Square, PA. As two of the region’s most respected providers of orthopedic and upper extremity care, we offer a collaborative, patient-focused environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and ongoing professional development.   Position Summary   The Physical Therapist assesses, treats, and manages patients with orthopedic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves developing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and patients, providing patient education, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides, and serving as a resource for the Physical Therapy team.  The position includes $1,750 annual CME/CEU reimbursement. This is a full-time, on-site position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, consisting of three days from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and two days from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.   Key Responsibilities:  
  • Assess patient condition and establish goals, treatments, and care plans in conjunction with physicians, patients, and families
  • Ensure appropriate treatments are performed in an interdisciplinary manner, consulting with physicians on patient care
  • Document findings, treatments, and other patient information accurately in the medical record
  • Educate patients and families on therapies, exercises, and home care instructions
  • Serve as an information and education resource for patients, families, and staff
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides
  • Support ongoing education and professional development of the Physical Therapy staff

 

Qualifications   Education:  
  • Bachelor’s degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted
  • Master’s degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted
  • Doctorate degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted
    Licenses & Certifications:   
  • Current Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
  • BLS Certificate Required
  Experience:  
  • Experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic preferred
