The candidate will increase credential issuance and card acceptance in Portugal, while positioning other money movement solutions and value added services, by working with overall payments ecosystem. This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Identify new business opportunities and actively support growth ambitions for assigned clients by offering Visa Solutions. Provide dynamic and proactive product/solution support and customer service.</li><li>Analyze market data and collaborate with other market teams to identify new issuing and acceptance opportunities.</li><li>Measure and monitor the results of implemented activities to ensure they align with strategic goals.</li><li>Implement digital agendas (Click to Pay, Tokenization, Secure Credential Framework, Risk, Tap-to-Phone, among others) for the market and assigned clients.</li><li>Develop and present compelling pitching decks and business cases.</li><li>Foster strong client relationships through regular performance reviews and strategic alignment sessions, acting as a trusted advisor and keeping clients informed of the latest market trends and Visa Solutions, while catering to the joint objectives set under the established agreements.</li><li>Drive sales growth within your client portfolio by understanding and integrating their strategic objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.</li><li>Contribute to business development efforts for new digital players (Fintech, Enablers, Bin Sponsors, Processors, Digital Payfacs, VD Programs, Wallets), ensuring seamless client onboarding and effective go-to-market strategies.</li></ul><p>This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics or engineering (preferred, but not required)<br/> Minimum of 4 years of experience (preferred, but not required: business / strategy consulting, banking, investment banking or payments)<br/> Fluent in Portuguese and English (additional languages are a plus)<br/> Excellent presentation skills<br/> Strong problem-solving skills and creativity to identify new opportunities/anticipate how can impact the industry<br/> Effective communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization<br/> Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance<br/> Good business planning and project management skills<br/> Ability to:<br/> Work independently and engage multiple levels of management in key decisions where required for the business<br/> Identify key strategic issues, generate and deliver creative and innovative solutions to problems and opportunities<br/> Support different Clients’ projects concurrently<br/> Collaborate with different profiles / functions, promoting healthy teamwork environment<br/> Manage &amp; grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Visa is an EEO Employer.
