Job Description

As a Security Professional Retail Patrol in Kirkland, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for a bustling retail and mall location. In this unarmed patrol position, your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. This role is designated as a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or property damage to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required, and applicants must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
