Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager who is a strong storyteller and puts the customer first. This role will be the crucial link between product strategy and market success, translating the power of Visa’s new products into effective value propositions, compelling narratives, and tools for sales teams that engage Visa’s global clients and customers.

The candidate will join the Product Marketing team for Growth Products, a group focused on bringing Visa's latest innovations to market. Our team is responsible for piloting and scaling new solutions across a range of strategic areas, including AI Commerce offerings, Digital Payments, and our Data & Platform capabilities. As a central player in our product marketing efforts, you will develop the strategies that launch these innovations in unique and differentiated ways.

Key Responsibilities
•    Client & Market Insights: Use research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify client needs and strategic market opportunities.
•    Product Expertise: Partner closely with the product organization to understand the products, roadmaps, and help drive market success by monitoring performance and adoption.
•    Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling narratives that communicate the unique value and differentiation of our products to diverse audiences, from C-suite executives to technical teams.
•    Content & Asset Development: Translate product messaging into high-impact assets, including presentations, videos, and collateral, to fuel sales and marketing initiatives.
•    Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and communications teams to orchestrate and execute unified launch plans that drive product adoption.

Key Internal Partners
This role will lead, support, and facilitate initiatives and work across a broad set of Visa stakeholders within global and regional structures, including:
•    Product teams
•    Extended marketing teams (other Product Marketing, Brand, Campaigns, and Web)
•    Regional product and marketing teams 
•    Research and Insights teams
•    Corporate Communications and Social Channels
•    Corporate Strategy and Finance


This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
•9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
•MBA Degree
•Experience with payments or fintechs, new technologies, and working in global, matrixed organizations
•Optimism and a pragmatic approach to challenges
•8+ years of progressively responsible business experience with an emphasis on B2B Product Marketing or Product Management.
•Proven expertise in creating strong product positioning, messaging, and content that drives customer engagement and adoption.
•Demonstrated experience using market research and customer insights to inform go-to-market strategy and product development.
•A strategic and proactive mindset, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and navigate ambiguity.
•Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, data analysis, and marketing agency management
•Willingness to challenge the status quo, discover things others overlook, and always work to find the right way forward for our clients and our business

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
