Summary of Responsibilities

Supplier Representative Facilitates communications between customers.  May be assigned a full range of varied sorting, inspection- or production-related tasks as well as administrative duties or any other task in furtherance of the work or goals of Stratosphere Quality and its customers.

 

Job duties included but are not limited to:

• Analyzes rejected castings to determine whether defects are foundry or machining related
• Works with both the foundry and customer to identify problems, determine root causes and implement corrective action
• Sets up containment and sorting of suspect component parts
• Reworks suspect component parts using basic hand tools and measuring instruments as needed
• Compiles daily reports as needed
• Leads daily conference calls
• Adheres to quality compliance requirements

Essential Job Function

Experience at ZF Foundry or other aluminum casting a plus

This opportunity will begin as a part time position to develop into full time.

Qualifications

Job Qualification:

 

• High School diploma required
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., casting, forging and machining of products)
• Experience with steel castings
• Familiarity with using hand measuring devices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks at any given time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Available to work assigned hours based on customer and business needs
