PURPOSE
The Delivery Specialist III, under supervision, supervises and trains delivery specialists; assists in sorting duties in the central mail room; oversees and executes delivering and collecting mail throughout campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Area 1: Operational
Percent Effort: 50%
Supervises and assists with collecting, sorting, preparing, and distributing office products, parcels, mail, intercampus mail, and some custodial products to campus customers.
Receive, scan, sort, bundle, pack, load and deliver mail.
Prepare high volume mail and operates meter equipment.
Functional Area 2: Administrative
Percent Effort: 25%
Deliver accountable mail including receipt reconciliation and primary delivery.
Provide customer service at the service window and on-campus, including cash handling responsibilities.
Functional Area 3: Other
Percent Effort: 25%
Maintain golf carts and all service records related to maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED.
Two (2) years of related experience in a mail-room or delivery service environment.
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent customer services skills.
Ability to work well individually and as a team.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and prioritize work assignments and manage time effectively.
Ability to operate mail processing equipment.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three (3) years of experience in a mail-room or delivery service environment.
SALARY $16.50 Hourly ($34,320 Annually approx.)
