Your Mission:
As an Equipment Systems Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of designing and delivering high-performance avionics equipment. From concept to certification, you’ll ensure our systems are reliable, innovative, and exceed customer expectations. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams, tackle complex challenges, and contribute to projects that redefine the future of aviation.

What YOU will do:

  • You will shape the future: By crafting equipment-level requirements and designs that translate ambitious system-level specifications into practical, innovative solutions.
  • You will architect excellence: Designing system architectures that integrate seamlessly across hardware, software, and new technologies.
  • You will lead with impact: Driving technical efforts within your team, mentoring junior engineers, and setting a standard for innovation and excellence.
  • You will tackle complex challenges: Through trade studies, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses to optimize the robustness and performance of our designs.
  • You will ensure precision delivery: Leading the verification and validation of equipment systems to comply with critical industry standards.
  • You will bridge teams and ideas: Collaborating with software, hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and the highest quality of outcomes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
  • Familiarity with industry standards and a proven track record in systems engineering within the aerospace or avionics fields.
  • 5+ years in Systems Engineering Tools such as DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, and MATLAB/Simulink.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Additional certifications or experience with ARP4754A, DO-178C, and DO-254.
  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive innovations within cross-functional teams.
