We are looking for aSenior Legal Analyst – Licensing located in Chicago 

 

The Impact You Will Have: 

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Law, the Senior Legal Analyst – Licensing is responsible for providing  legal support to Allianz Commercial management at a Country Branch Office and Head Office level with a focus on foreign and domestic licensing. 

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

  • Ensuring proper renewals of all licenses for regulated entities in the United States and Canada. 

  • Maintaining reinsurance registrations for AGRUS and AGCS SE. 

  • Coordinating with Third Party Vendors to ensure proper Service of Process and Annual Reporting. 

  • Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure the filing of all legal annual filings. 

  • Maintaining internal tools with proper timelines, updating as necessary to reflect changes in law and/or other requirements. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

  • A minimum of 3  years of practical experience in the insurance industry (P&C product market), including working with  regulators; 

  • Experience with licensing renewals for regulated insurance entities; 

  • Familiarity with on-line regulatory portals; 

  • Ability to work independently in an international matrix organization; 

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across various lines of business and with external cooperation partners; 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; 

  • Ability to take initiative and resolve problems; 

  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to handle a high volume of materials; 

  • Ability to learn to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making; and 

  • Bachelor’s degree.

 

The annualized base pay range for this role is $85,909 - $120,818. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.  As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
