About the role

Oracle’s Global Physical Security (GPS) Systems Team is responsible for securing the corporation’s global datacenter and facility footprint through advanced Physical Access and Identity Management (PIAM) technologies. We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead the vision, development, and modernization of the BADGE & BADGE-DC platforms, which are foundational to Oracle’s global security operations. The ideal candidate excels in PIAM and security system deployments in hyperscale environments, drives large-scale technical automation, and ensures systems remain robust, secure, and compliant with ever-changing business and regulatory demands. 

 

This role requires deep technical acumen, a strategic mindset, and the ability to orchestrate globally distributed, cross-functional technical teams. You will oversee the entire platform lifecycle, from roadmap definition and architecture to deployment, automation, audit, and modernization, while maximizing process efficiency and business value. The best candidates will combine experience with modern physical security technologies, leading-edge automation tools, and a continuous improvement mentality. 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY, IMPACT OF DECISIONS, AND DEGREE OF SUPERVISION: 


This position operates as the global platform owner and senior technical authority for Oracle’s BADGE & BADGE-DC systems. With broad autonomy, you will set objectives, drive execution, and directly impact Oracle’s physical security, compliance, and operational resilience. Expected to make independent, strategic decisions while proactively collaborating with Oracle GPS leadership and global business partners. This role will influence business continuity, regulatory posture, and security strategy across the organization. 

  • Drive end-to-end lifecycle, from vision through deployment, operations, upgrades, and decommissioning.  
  • Lead the transition of manual credentialing and access management workflows to automated, scalable, and self-service solutions.  
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for all critical issues, audits, and system incidents.  
  • Author technical roadmaps, investment plans, automation strategies, and standards documents. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop, communicate, and execute the long-term global strategy and technical roadmap for BADGE & BADGE-DC Applications in alignment with Oracle’s business and compliance objectives.  
  • Architect and oversee major system integrations, migrations, and upgrades, with a focus on automating identity management, credentialing, auditing, and reporting processes.  
  • Identify, pilot, and implement automation frameworks, RPA, scripting, and reporting tools to increase productivity and system reliability while reducing cycle times and manual touch points.  
  • Manage technical partnerships/vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and SLAs, and drive accountability for project delivery and system support.  
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives for the PIAM ecosystem, leveraging metrics and data analytics to drive decisions.  
  • Ensure all platforms, processes, and integrations consistently meet or exceed global regulatory, privacy, and audit requirements.  
  • Partner with IT and business teams to deliver intuitive, secure, and compliant self-service capabilities (e.g., onboarding/offboarding portals, delegated workflows, automated notifications).  
  • Own and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including technical schematics, process maps, user guides, playbooks, and audit trails, ensuring content is current, accurate, and accessible.  
  • Communicate program status, performance, and risks clearly and regularly to all levels of internal and external stakeholders. 

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Engineering, Security, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.  
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on security technologies, physical identity management, or datacenter infrastructure at an enterprise or hyperscale level.  
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with physical access management platforms (e.g., Lenel (must have), HID, Genetec, C•CURE, AMAG, or comparable systems), including configuration, integration, and vendor management.  
  • Demonstrable ability to automate business and security processes using workflow automation tools.
