Description
Turnwell Mental Health Network is a clinician-led, integrated mental health group with a mission to expand access to high-quality care in underserved markets. Our primary focus is mental/behavioral health and integrative medicine/primary care services. Turnwell provides administrative support so our medical professionals can do what they do best: focus on patient care. We are looking for a licensed Therapist / Counselor with a friendly demeanor and strong analytical abilities that can lead our group IOP groups.
As a behavioral therapist, you will be responsible for delivering all therapist services such as completing assessments, guiding groups, treatment and discharge planning, and patient care documentation. This therapist will be an integral part of a comprehensive care team that includes board-certified physician leadership. Requirements

- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all conversations to always ensure patient confidentiality
- Respect and maintain the privacy and dignity of patients
- Provide excellent therapeutic services that meet the individual patient’s needs
- Must be able to create an efficient health plan that meets the unique needs of each patient
- Must follow through and be able to show treatment results of patients
- Complete patient-related documentation and communicate relevant clinical information to both the patient, referring provider, and treatment team
- Be able to set up and lead IOP group therapies.
- Support patients and their families with evidence-based therapy in both group and individual settings
- Incorporate treatment team input to design plans based on the patient's values, objectives, and health, while ensuring that support structures are easily accessible
- Perform regular wellness checks by phone to inquire about behavioral health status and medication adherence
- Evaluate client needs and create individual interventions while establishing person-centered goals for behavior modifications
Qualifications
- Proven work experience in a therapeutic role
- Proper certification and licensing as this will be verified upon interview
- Must be trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
- Training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) is preferred
- Professional attitude and genuine care for helping others
- Must dress professionally
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with leading group therapies a plus!
- Must provide a comfortable atmosphere for patients and demonstrate sympathy
- Must pass a background check
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are needed
- Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for an LCSW, LISW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working in behavioral health
