ScheduleMonday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Houston, TX – CST)

Total Weekly Hours: 40

As a Bilingual Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and top-notch service for all patients. 
In this remote role, you’ll manage front-office tasks using a modern electronic medical records system while supporting patient care. Enjoy a flexible, professional environment where your skills make a real impact every day.


Responsibilities:
  • Warmly greet and assist patients by answering incoming calls with a friendly, professional demeanor.

  • Efficiently manage the appointment scheduling system to optimize the clinic’s calendar and ensure timely patient care.

  • Serve as a language bridge for Spanish-speaking patients, providing clear communication and exceptional service.

  • Process incoming documents through the fax console and accurately file them in the appropriate patient charts.

  • Manage the clinic’s email communications, filtering out spam while promptly handling important patient information, such as insurance cards.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation within the electronic medical records system, ensuring accurate patient records.

  • Collaborate with the in-office team to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.


Requirements:
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Clear, neutral English accent for effective communication with all patients.

  • Availability to work during Central Standard Time (CST) business hours.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new healthcare software.

  • Professional, compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help patients.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations (training provided).

  • Previous medical office experience is a plus but not required – we’re happy to train the right candidate!
