Job Description

Role Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) of USH Events and FP&A will be a key contributor to Cost and full P&L management of the growing USH Events portfolio, including Halloween Horror Nights [HHN] and other concepts in development, as well as contributing to other FP&A priorities seasonally and as needed, which could include work with Attendance and Annual Pass forecasting.  While USH Events are typically seasonal [HHN takes place in Sept/Oct for example], financial cost and full P&L support is a year-round effort including significant planning, scope decision making, production and then operation/execution.  This role will be primarily focused on that work, including playing the broader FP&A roll-up role to look at total event financials (full P&L), but also playing a significant role with the Entertainment Production and Operations teams to enable them to produce and operate events in an optimal manner.  The role will assist with: financial reporting, month-end close, event cost accounting, quarterly pacing/estimates, financial planning (budget and re-forecasts), analysis of business trends, event profitability, cost benchmarking and process opportunities. This individual will work closely with USH FP&A, Entertainment Production, Entertainment Operations, and the broader Operational Finance teams.  Participation in other FP&A initiatives would likely broaden the exposure and work partners of the role.  This will be a 2 year contract role with the opportunity and intention to become an ongoing Headcount role within that time period given the current plans to grow the event portfolio.

  • Day to day Finance support for the Event Entertainment teams, partnering with them to develop and execute the right business plan for all events
