If so, consider joining Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health! We anticipate getting several RBT roles supporting William Penn School District.
In this role you will work one-on-one with students in public schools in and around William Penn School District for the 2025-2026 school year. You will support preschool students with their behavioral and learning needs in a variety of school settings, including the classroom, specials, recess and lunch. In this position you will work directly under the supervision of a BCBA, who will develop best practice strategies for working with the students.
We offer training for people who do not yet have their RBT credential and are interested in this career path!

- School-Based Hours 7.5 hours/day Mon-Fri
- Competitive Pay: $21.50 - $23.50 per hour (based on experience/education)

In this role, you will:
- Work one-on-one with students, implementing behavior support strategies and supporting instruction
- Assist in conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
- Communicate with the team about student progress
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices, and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges and communication needs. Devereux uses evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education population.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field; RBT certification strongly preferred. Will consider candidates in process to complete RBT Certification.
Experience: Must have one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents along the autism spectrum/behavioral challenges. Previous RBT experience preferred, but training and supervision will be provided.
