Job Description
AECOM has a position available for a Club Ride Community Account Manager in Las Vegas, NV. This position focuses on expanding Club Ride programs and services to three newly-defined audiences – Post-Secondary Educational Institutions, Transit Riders and Vanpoolers. The qualified candidate will be a proven transportation professional with the ability to conduct community outreach and engagement efforts for the Regional Transportation Commission’s Club Ride program.
Club Ride works with the business community, regional stakeholders and residents to reduce traffic congestion and travel emissions in Southern Nevada. The program provides education, services and promotions that encourage the use of transit, active transportation, carpooling and vanpooling as a means to improve quality of live in the community.
AECOM is responsible for the comprehensive management of Club Ride. This includes an outreach team responsible for developing community relationships and maintaining a network of employer and community partners that implement commute options programs. It also includes the oversight of a multi-disciplinary team of subconsultants that fulfill regional marketing and communications along with specialized strategies to expand the program’s reach and impact.
Additional Job Detail:
The Community-focused Account Manager focuses on providing outreach and consulting services to defined audiences that expand Club Ride’s reach and help to widen membership and participation, building on Club Ride’s employer-based foundation. The role will help develop Club Ride messaging and programming to encourage the use of greener travel across additional trip types, including post-secondary education institutions, transit riders, vanpoolers and residents. These efforts will support outcomes to raise program awareness and improve regional mobility, increasing mode capture among existing users and encouraging the use of sustainable options for additional trips.
The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:
The position focuses on expanding Club Ride programs and services to three newly-defined audiences – Post-Secondary Educational Institutions, Transit Riders and Vanpoolers – with responsibilities including:
- Post-secondary Education:
- Provide one-on-one technical assistance to public and private post-secondary institutions in Clark County that include colleges, universities and technical academies
- Grow and maintain partnerships with these entities to promote transportation options and encourage change in travel behavior among students, faculty and staff and promote additional available services including RTC’s reduced-fare and free college transit pass programs
- Assist campuses with promoting carpool, transit, bike and pedestrian programs including providing regional ridematching, Club Ride Rewards and special promotions
- Tailor outreach services and promotions to meet the unique needs and challenges of each partner and the varied audiences traveling to/from campus
- Campus services will include, but not be limited to: transit promotions; carpool and vanpool formation activities; commuter pre-tax benefits (faculty/staff); various incentive programs and tactics designed to encourage mode shift away from drive-alone travel; bicycling and walking programs; and other air quality and congestion mitigation programs – including those aimed at sustainable practices and “green” operations
- Maintain the status of current campus partners with all partner activities and contacts documented in the Salesforce database
- Recruit new campus partners through networking, cold calling and community engagement
- Schedule and conduct on-site events to register student
