Job Title: Strategic Services Associate – Revenue Assurance - Remote

 

PRMO Established in 2001, Patient Revenue Management Organization (PRMO) is a fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization supporting all of Duke Health, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, the Private Diagnostic Clinic, and Duke Primary Care. The PRMO focuses on streamlining the revenue cycle through enhanced management of scheduling, registration, coding, HIM operations, billing, collections, cash management, and customer service. General Description of the Job Class:

 

Lead Revenue Cycle strategic initiatives and project management

Analyze and interpret data to identify trends for process improvement

Identify and recommend improvement opportunities to meet AR metrics and improve under-performing AR

 

Revenue Cycle Analysis and Trending 

 

Independently complete analysis of large data sets to identify root causes for increased AR Aging,  increase in AR, denials, payer trends, and/or decrease in cash or net collections within all areas of the Revenue Cycle

Document and maintain cash and denials trends to proactively identify and communicate shifts

Independently translate/consolidate trends identified into an easily-readable format to report out to key internal and external stakeholders

Maintain internal control documentation related to process memos, testing, and quality control. Identify and/or recommend appropriate areas of risks for internal controls.

Conduct detailed research to identify trends, including a review of specifics in the appropriate accounts receivable and /or financial systems

Assist in leading meetings to highlight issues, trends and challenges related to net revenue and cash collections
