Jr. Financial Analyst

Main Tasks

• Support AP and AR functions for Retained Organization
• Assist AP and AR Financial Analyst in overseeing accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices
• Follow company policies for accurate coding of business expenses
• Facilitate weekly payment runs (ACH, checks and wires) ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices
• Communicate with GBTS Accounts Payable Team regarding past due invoices and work on resolution of any issues
• Work with AP and AR Financial Analyst to monitor AP and AR Aging
• Effectively communicate with other team members and departments to regarding AP and AR issues
• Reconcile daily cash activity
• Work closely with accounting to ensure timely monthly closing, as well as appropriate reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Assist in internal and external audit by replying to and/or researching audit questions
• Assist the AP and AR Financial Analyst as requested
• Other duties as assigned

Your Profile

Education

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance

Experience

• Minimum of 1-4 years of related financial analysis or accounting experience

Required Skills

• Experience creating budgeting and forecasting models
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Familiar with methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in data analysis

Preferred Skills

• Familiar with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Manufacturing or distribution experience
