Title: Computer Field Technician

Job Details: 

Responsibilities: 

• PLS Support for calls such as Dell ClientTransformation Services calls, installing and servicing PCs, and PC peripherals and/or electronic equipment 

• Takes service calls and performs incident specific activities as directed by Help Desk, Service Desk or script 

• May perform routine installs, moves, adds and changes as part of a directed team, including: ·        

• Complex desktop and laptop break fix work ·   

• Whole unit replacement ·       

• Simple desktop printer fixes 

• Load software with a script   

General Job Information: 

• Candidate will be taking PC hardware break fix calls at various locations.     

• Must have reliable transportation.     

• Must be able to pass drug and background screening.     

• Must be able to complete required product training. 

Qualifications

Required Skills:       

• DELL Desktop PC, Install/Support, Expert     

• A+ Certification    

Additional Information

Mileage Reimbursement: This job requires driving, so you need to have your own vehicle to deliver the services at various locations, travel by private auto will be compensated at 0.58 cents for the first 225 miles driven in each week. Subsequent miles driven in the same week will be reimbursed at the rate of 0.26 cents per mile. This job requires driving, so you need to have your own vehicle to deliver the services at various locations, travel by private auto will be compensated at 65.5 cents for each mile driven each week.
