Location: Terrell, TX, United States  

Other Available Locations: Texas

Basic Job Functions:

• Obtain GMAW 1G certification
• Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret shop drawings.
• Perform tasks as directed by the Line Supervisor and/or the Line Group Leader.
• Understand order processing (shop releases and run orders).
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor Buildings Group Texas will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future.)

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GMAW experience
• Possess basic understanding of metal building systems fabrication
