Class C Driver/Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Class C Driver and Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring timely delivery of materials and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate Class C vehicles to deliver materials to according to schedule

- Load, unload, and organize materials in the warehouse or delivery vehicle

- Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance issues before and after trips

- Maintain accurate delivery and inventory records

- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing supplies

- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation and handling activities

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and material status

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience in driving and material handling preferred

- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment and tools

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

- Knowledge of safety procedures and traffic laws

- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Requirements

Requirements:

1. All drivers must have a valid Class C, or better, driver’s license to operate the vehicle.
2. Must have a clean motor vehicle report.
3. Must pass a Federal DOT Level Drug Screening and physical.
4. Able to operate stand-up forklift & material handling equipment.
5. Ability to lift more than 80 lbs.
6. Ability to use handheld technology.

Experience:

1. Have a minimum of 6 months of commercial vehicle driving experience.
