White Oak Medical Center is hiring an experienced Electrophysiology Technologist for our Cardiology unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As the Electrophysiology Technician, you will:
• Need the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and provide expertise in the setup of every case including all equipment, instruments and set up of the patients. Must have the ability to delegate where possible.
• Provide clinical expertise in all electrophysiology studies and ablations including mapping aberrant pathways and identifying abnormal rhythms. Must be able to use current mapping systems and document accordingly.
• Provide clinical back up and support for the provider with the ability to troubleshoot/Critically think in all situations and emergencies.
• The EP specialist needs to be able to gain the confidence of the providers they are working with and provide adequate support for any case, including troubleshooting equipment.
• The EP specialist needs to have the ability to educate any nurses, student techs, fellow etc.
• The EP specialist needs to be able run the day-to-day schedule, delegate tasks to staff, including RNs in the absence of the Supervisor
Qualifications Include:
• High school or GED
• BSc preferred
• 1-2 years dedicated Electrophysiology experience
• Ability to support EP Mapping, Ablations, Device implants & Watchman procedures.
• Preceptor/Leadership experience preferred.
• RCIS with a focus in EP required.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, ACLS required

Pay Range:
$39.96 - $59.94If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
