Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented leader to join our team supporting a large U. S. Government program in Huntsville Alabama or the National Capital Region.

ManTech's Department of Justice Division is seeking a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS) Services EDAS Portfolio. The role involves acquiring technical expertise to support IT networks, systems, and initiatives. The position is crucial for the success of FBI missions and requires specialized technical expertise in agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The SAFe methodology will be used to align Agile teams and deliver capabilities, ensuring effective work prioritization and successful delivery. Experience with SAFe implementation is essential to modernize and enhance capabilities within the EDAS portfolio.

The Continuous Vetting (CV) Tool development team is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and enhancements of the CV Tool, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and compliance with federal security clearance evaluation processes and policies. The team is also accountable for migrating the tool's dependencies and architecture to the Insider & Security Analytics Platform cloud infrastructure and optimizing it according to the evolving business processes and preferences of the FBI's Trusted Workforce Program. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of the CV Tool. You should have experience with ELK stack, OpenSearch, SonarQube, Cypress, PowerShell, C#, and Databricks. Additionally, you should be familiar with Docker, SQL, Angular, Spring Boot, Nifi, AWS, Python, Scala, shell scripting, and XML processing. Experience in AWS solution architecture is also required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, implementation, integration, and testing for the CV Tool.

  • Participate in software requirement review, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness review, and software acceptance review.

  • Act as a technical lead for pre-proposal, proposal, and existing program efforts.

  • Support the program management office in a technical role.

  • Research marketing requirements for the product, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.

  • Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, coordinating activities across organizational lines.

  • Provide technical guidance to lower-level software engineers, if required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 7-9 years of related experience in software engineering.

  • Strong expertise in system and software design, implementation, integration, and testing.

  • Experience with ELK stack, OpenSearch, SonarQube, Cypress, PowerShell, C#, and Databricks.

  • Familiarity with Docker, SQL, Angular, Spring Boot, Nifi, AWS, Python, Scala, shell scripting, and XML processing.

  • Proficiency in AWS solution architecture.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,200-$164,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
