Partner with the best

The Sr Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the product line asset utilization and inventory levels.    Also, manages the asset and inventory management team including employee training, development and career progression.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
  • Optimize inventory and process improvements.
  • Redefine processes and procedures on a regular basis and require frequent interaction with adjacent functions (e.g. engineering, planning, maintenance)
  • Handles latitude in manufacturing techniques.
  • Manufacturing process requires choosing right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how.
  • Leads a small manufacturing unit with a budget > 1.5 million.
  • Accountable to ensure OFS inventory and asset policies and processes are implemented and being followed
  • Provides updates to inventory and asset utilization projections and creates mitigation plans as needed.
  • Monitors inventory levels and works to ensure the weekly increase or decrease in levels are aligned to the business such that monthly and annual inventory goals are met
  • Reviews Slow Moving Inventory (SMI) with regions and involves other functional groups to reduce SMI risk.
  • Works with materials planner to create the netted demand plan to
  • Ensures compliance to all Inventory & Asset compliance Policies are adhered to including but not limited to Inventory verification, Customer Owned, Consigned and PPE Physical verification.
  • Works with the material planners to ensure new assets, repaired assets and spares are captured with the S&OP process 
  • Monitors key reports to ensure aged transactions are addressed and system dates are maintained. 
  • Responsible to action any audit findings associated with inventory or assets.
  • Manages the asset and inventory management team including employee training, development and career progression 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related business degree is preferred
  • 7-10 years experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Materials and MRP functionality
  • Ability to work with and influence stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
  • Experience managing and developing teams
